May 13th (Monday)
From home.....

 

What a day! Jonah and I got to meet the new GI doctor. I LOVE HIM!! He is a clear thinker and has come with a plan for us. He is immediately contacting Jonah's ENT to see if we can push up the surgery date....he says it is unacceptable. Jonah will have to go through another gastro emptying scan to see if the medication is working. He is worried that the medication is not helping and Jonah ha...s another midline defect along his GI tract. If the gastro scan comes back with the same results from last time, he will have to have an endoscopy done. From there, he will devise another plan of action. He has referred us to another dietician and will have to go to them on a frequent basis with weigh-ins. He said we should be seen at a minimum every 3 months. He wanted Jonah's blood work done immediately for outside allergens completed. He told us that unfortunately children with heart issues end up having several food sensitivities and although his tests came back "negative" for allergies.....he definitely has some. He stated that his eczema is flaring up because of his allergies, and until we find out what is aggravating them, it will continue. I feel so blessed to have another doctor in Jonah's path that has JONAH's needs at the forefront. Between his new pediatrician and this new GI doctor......watch out......Jonah's going to surprise us! Praise to HIM!!!

May 16th (Thursday)

Yeah!!!!! No more helmet at night . Thanking HIM for Jonah's growth this last 8 weeks and his physical progress so he doesn't have to wear it anymore!!

May 17th (Friday)

Jonah is glad they changed out his g-tube. Evidently there was a hole in it ;(

 

 

May 20th (Monday)

Jonah had an appointment with "high risk developmental pediatrics" today. They are so happy with his progress! I am so proud of him and look forward to the journey we continue to travel. Praise to God...whom makes ALL things possible!

Guess who needs 18 month clothes!!!! He may not need it for the weight, but for the length. A shopping we may go, a shopping we may go... Donata Brown...your outfit fits great!
